How to order books from Scion

Please note these two key points when ordering via the Scion website:
- You must specify a delivery address where someone will be able to sign for your order. If you are not at home during the day, please do not use your home address for deliveries.
- The standard delivery time for orders placed on our website is 5 working days for UK orders and 10 working days for European orders. If you need the book(s) more quickly, we suggest you use Amazon. Every book on our website has a direct link to the corresponding page at Amazon.co.uk

In general, we use the following shipping methods:
For UK orders:
Books are sent from our warehouse by second class post. You should receive your order within five working days
For European orders:
We send books into Europe by Airmail only. This is more expensive but delivery is quicker and we experience fewer lost books
For USA orders:
Books will be supplied by Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Press from their warehouse on Long Island.
For Australasian orders:
Books will be supplied by Palgrave Macmillan, who distribute our books in Australasia
Purchase Orders
We are happy to accept University Purchase Orders. We will honour any promotional discounts but these need to mentioned on the purchase order. Please remember to include the appropriate postage for your order. You can find more dteails about sending us purchase orders by clicking on the link below.
Sigma Aldrich
Most of our books can be purchased via Sigma-Aldrich. Where possible, we have included the Sigma product code for each book.
